My new ride, 00' Si Clone! Give me your opinions!
I just got this car less than a week ago. Its preety fun car except for a few problems im having nothing major. Here are some pictures, my friend took them and he sucks bad, I shouldve tooken them myself. I will ask him to come back tomarrow so I can take some HAHA!
Its an original 1996 Honda Civic EX with a 2000 SI b16a2 front end, im preety sure it wasn't a swap because it has the original oem motor mounts that are already worn.
Anyways here she is. Tell me what you all think, as far as I know it has ebay headers, type R valve cover, carbon fiber spark plug cover, msd digital 6 ignition, coils and distributor. Si Cluster, full Si Interior. Apexi Cone 30k HID's.

Dude... try to stick to one thread and put all your problems there.
and how are you going to say:
"Its an original 1996 Honda Civic EX with a 2000 SI b16a2 front end"
Then say:
" im preety sure it wasn't a swap"
If it's a 96, and has a 2000 b16... it's probably a swap.

Cars from the factory have all the equipment in the headlight to keep the beam pattern straight, When you put HID's in a stock headlight housing it throws light in every direction, It also has shadows everywhere, There isnt anything to concentrate the light onto the ground. Ontop of that the purple looks like Sh*t

Car looks pretty good. Few things to touch on:
- b series swaps in EK's use the original mounts, your car does "not" have the original engine, civic's didn't have a B16 option in USDM in 1996
- loose the msd and HID kit, it will save you hassel
- That is not a Type R valve cover, it a regular painted one, not that it matters
- from the pics, the seats look to be original, Si seats have different head rests in them
- find a Si grill to complete the front end conversion look
- clean up the wiring in the engine bay, you have stuff going all over the place in there
Hope that helps out a bit

you should retrofit your HIDs to have cutoff lines> i did that to mine and they appear as Stock HIDs in a reflector housing car. no projector needed (even tho it would have been better)
