My new purchase.....I am back to Honda
Pointless post to most but I am back to Honda again. Just bought a 1993 Civic Si Hatch for $1800. One owner! No mods, 132k miles, imacculate interior, near perfect exterior. Red in color, black interior, 5 speed blah blah blah... Finally have a worthwhile chassis to build up, i got excited so i posted it up.

I know the feeling to go back to a honda after you've had something else. I had 5 Honda's in a row than i bought a VW Corrado and decided that i was a Honda person. I figured that it was a waste for me to let my knowledge go to down the drain after i spent so long acquiring everything that i know.

Re: (Jmunk)
A little OT, but how did you like the Corrado?? I've got a friend who is looking at them and wasnt real sure what to tell him. I like how they look, but know nothing about them (except some of them came with a VR6)

yeah..they either came with a vr6 or a supercharged 4 cyl. they supposedly handle like champs--it was VW's shot at a relatively inexpesive "exotic", if you will

Re: (g4hatchie)
Definitely a nice find!! Congrats on the new ride! Let's see some pics!
OT again, but I love the Corrado's... the VR6 is an excellent power plant, and they have quite a bit of aftermarket parts as well! If I were to buy a VDub, it would either be that, or a 1.8T Golf

Re: (CNY Hatch)
hopefully get some pics of it dirty tonite when i change the oil and whatnot...
motor is really strong, feels almost as good as my d15b/y8 mini-me setup in my past EF, alot less torque in the d16z6 but about the same top end. that motor is really restricted with the stock intake.
drove a modded vr6 jetta....that motor is beat, sohc vtec engine feels better....the vr6 has a plus and that is that it is really really smooth through the powerband. i bet its sick with a turbo though.
