Default My new motor got put in and i think the timing is messed up!!

well i finally got my car back after blowing my old 96 y8..i got a 98 y8 put in it with only 50,000 miles and it runs great , but when the car is in neutral the idles sits at like 1,500 which is way high and sometimes it moves up and down like after its been off all night i think my mechanic put my AEM cam gear on wrong .can someone help me out please...

sounds like your fast idle valve may be out of adjustment.

it happens when it is cold right.. it is right under your throttle body.. just screw it back in..

Yeah I would think the timing might be off a little I would check that first with a timing gun and see where it is.
