I put my Starbucks in my driver side cup holder (the smaller one) all the time with no problems. I usually put my hand on the cup to make sure it doesn't tip around corners but never had it fall out. Which would suck since my DVD player is mounted down there in the cubby.

Yeah, well I only drink coffee in my car on my way to work and it is way too early in the morning to be zipping in and out of turns. Besides, its like 33 miles from my house to Starbucks and half a mile from there to work.

hehehe, never realized so many people have problems with them. Maybe I just drive too mellow because we use them to transport fast food drinks all the time. Rarely eat in the car but do go through the drivethru and then home and such.
One thing I use sometimes is I have one of those travel coffee mugs that is short and has a wide bottom. I just set it on my pass. seat and drive. Never had a problem with it going over.
