Default My motor might be dying :(

It's a 95 B18B, it's drank some coolant for the last week, the reserve has dropped about in inch in two weeks, it has gotten warmer, and I just did the swap about a month ago. I checked my plugs and all of them have a green tint to them. I think it's the head gasket, can anyone confirm that it is the headgasket?

Sounds like it....is there white smoke out the tailpipe?

If you can don't drive the car with a bad headgasket.

Just pull the head, it won't be hard.

Unless you've got cracks in all four cylinders that go through to the water jackets, yes, your headgasket is walking around. An easy fix if you've got 3 or 4 hours and some hand tools .

Don't get discouraged...you caught the problem, now fix it.

Anyone have a reccommendation on a thicker head gasket? Turbo is scheduled to be installed this month (May). Not sure yet though depending on my coolant problem.

Just use an OEM head gasket for your turbo application. BTW, if you are taking the head off just put the forged internals for your turbo setup in at that time (if youre going to go that route)

No dough for bottom end. A basic kit for now. Stock boost.

Did a compression test on it.

182 cylinder 3
190 cylinder 2
180 cylinder 1

I'm seriously at a loss as to what it is. The compression seems fine. It's supposed to be 180 across the board with a tolerance of 28 psi. So I am well within range.

your compression is fine...doesn't mean you're not leaking water into the cylinders...
