holy ****... my mirrors arent cool enough
Im really that bored at work to where I've been starin at pictures of ej's and egs looking for mirrors that would better fit my car. Any opinions? I made the mistake (all of us do at one point) buying spoon styles off ebay for like 40 bucks.. Well i got what i paid for, that being absolute ****. They were power but didnt come with any guts, literally a casing and a mirror. It was so cheeply done that the mirror cut was to wide to where i can see the mounting screw where the mirror casing meets the base. Im painting my car again (aztec green pearl) and am going to get the stock mirrors resprayed since their black now (i didnt have enough money for my swap in my 94 ex coupe, basically i ran out and didnt know what i was doing so i traded my power windows doors and mirrors for manual ones so the dude would finish it for me. Yeah semi bad idea but it happens sometimes. now i was in the process of rebuyin all the ****, but got over power mirrors after i bought them) long story short since this is way to long is stock mirrors come out to far and look funny paint matched with the car. I love spoons but the ones i have are ****. Maybe i should get over it... or just buy real ones but that would be after my WS and tires for my si's. even better imitations i could deal with. any ideas?

I like the look of my "spoon style" power mirrors, they fit well and work great. Color matched them as well.
these look to be the same only mine are not the "carbon" version.

I really dont like how the power ones look because of the weird bulge at the base <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Relic1 »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I like the look of my "spoon style" power mirrors, they fit well and work great. the bulge isn't for the power option, its to position the mirror so you can see out of them better.
but, I know what you mean, the bulge takes a little getting used to.
