i know there is lots of info on the site about this topic but i cant get the info i need. I have a d16z6 head on a d16y7 block i am using all the parts for the head t/belt dizzy leads. when i try to start it, it fires out the intake moving the dizzy dose not help. i have lined up the marks on the crank and the cam put the t/belt on, what am i missing the car has been rewired for the engine and i have a P28 ECU i think i have all the gear to get it to run. It would seem to be timing to me but i am ready to dump the engine and put the old one back in. PLEASE HELP ITS DOING MY NUT

Ye the leads are correct. maybe i am using the wrong cam gear i have the d16z6 on it maybe i need the y7 gear i might try that later

Post clear pictures of the cam and crank when the engine is set at TDC1.

Any CEL codes?

Fuel pump primes and strong spark?

will get pics up later but the crank pully lines up with the mark on its own (painted white) to the right of the 3 together for TDC and the 2 marks (3&9 oclock) on the cam line up with the head marks i even took the belt off and rotated the crank thinking it was 180degrees out and still the same?????????? AAAAAHHHHHHH
