my local dealer has a civic ex for 22k anyone want it?
Its a brand new 7G "Rated FP" or factory performance. Red 5spd ex with factory bodykit, rear spoiler, nice looking 16s which look like the new ctr rims but in 16in and 4 lug (i want these) with yokos, factory performance shift **** (looks like a dc) and some interior and exterior badges. Also has a suspension kit with different shocks and springs lowered about an inch, and the best part: factory "euroclears" and a nice big exhaust tip. If it wasnt for the tails and tip it would actually look pretty good. I was told that its a limited edition civic that honda put out, only 500 in the nation. I wonder how long it will take before someone buys it. It is 22k after all on an ex civic.... you could buy a new Si and a stock eg as a project car for that.

limited edition EX? Hmmm, sounds like another dealership BS comment. Reminds me of the time when I was passing through a Nissan dealership getting my 240 fixed and stopped to look at the new SE-R and a salesman thought I was a customer. He had the nerve to say "yeah, this car has soandso amount of hp and tq, thats why it's faster than the new rsx-s". I was like "ummm, yeah, the extra 2 doors and fact that it has less hp, that's why it's faster, right?". I then told him I was going to walk back to my car, which happened to be worth something more than a "thats gay as ****" look. I love ******* with salesman, theyre usually pretty stupid and think their customers will beleive whatever they say.

yea i saw an add for that, they also are doing this with the rsx next year. they are putting a bunch of mugen stuff on it and suspension upgrades; however, it retains the stock engine.

i'm not saying there is, actually the rsx is pretty sharp. it just would have been nice of them to stick a type r engine in there too

The sad fact is that FP RSX will most likely be our Type R.
You know how much. Around $28,000. PA-LEEZE.

R-Type minus 20 hp equals FP
Acura's RSX gets a handling and appearance package
Acura is tenuously joining the BMW M/Mercedes AMG tuner market with a new line of products badged under the Factory Performance name. First up is a handling package for the RSX Type-S that features stiffer "track-tuned" springs and shocks that lower the coupe by about 1 in., 17-in. lightwieght aluminum alloy wheels and 225/45VR17 tires, slotted brake rotors with performance pads and lower body cladding and the requisite boy-racer wing. Inside there's a billet aluminum shift **** and special Factory Performance badging with aluminum look interior trim. This is the home-market Honda Integra's Type-R handling package without the 220-hp engine. Acura says it has no plans to import the Type-R, so if you lust after that car you might consider springing for the $4800-plus dealer installation (estimated at six hours). Hurry: Only 1000 copies will be available the first year.
The package is well worth it, for the most part. Based on a slalom provided by Acura, the RSX Type-S FP has quicker turn-in than the stock setup with the body roll and impending oversteer of the stock RSX Type-S virtually gone. This sucker corners flat; slalom speeds increase substantially. Power is the same 200 hp from the 2.0L i-VTEC four.
FP's focus will be on handling improvements, at least for the time being. In coming years, expect more packages and products for pretty much the full Acura line, including the MDX, and probably a second package for the RSX that will offer suspension and brake mods without the rice-rocket look.
