my little project.
well last week i ordered an OEM replacement front bumper to play with. The plans are the type-r style lip (for a eg hatch) and shaving reflectors and emblem.
today i got the bondo puddy and mesh backing and placed the backin in the holes. we also attached the lip.
this **** is gonna look bad!
edit: thats my dad holding the bumper not me.

Just do it it will look a hell of a lot cleaner just take some sand paper and work at it slowly until you get it just right

if you don't wanna shave the plate holes you could always just get the fillers. I don't think they're too expensive, but who knows. Did you have to mod the CTR lip at all? It looks like it fits prety well w/ your bumper. I remember hearing rumors that it was a HUGE pain to get a CTR lip onto a sol bumper, which is why I ask. Good luck w/ your project, it looks sweet so far.

its a little bit harder to fit than the regular ex civic lip. we couldnt get the lip to fit on the bumper thats on my car, so i ordered this one so i can work with it more. We got it on with our hands then one of us held it in place while the other put the screws in. The two center screws are longer than the others because there is a gap of about 1.5 inches from the holes spots to the bumper...but the fitment is pretty nice considering it wasnt made for the sol bumper.
i have the liceneplate hole fillers on my car now, ill just transfer them over to the new bumper.
