I installed a new head unit today and now my horn doesn't work. The cable reel is fine and the fuse is still good and i checked the connection to the horn and it doesn't look coroded or anything. I doubt this is the cause but does the wire from the horn go through the stereo wiring harness? If so where, and if not what is wrong with my horn. I'm going to check the horn itself tommorow but i just found it kind of wierd that it happend right after I installed my cd player.

check the fuses try the back up fuse you probably blew it when installing the deck

where is the backup fuse? i checked the stop horn fuse under the hood and it was still good

if your talking about the one in the fuse box under the hood i already checked that. If not where is this other fuse you are talking about?

its under the dash its a 7.5 fuse

What is it labeled as? because when i checked under the dash there wasn't any fuse for the horn.

i for got what its labeled as just look for the 7.5 fuse and that should be it

there are several 7.5 fuses. there is the RR def rly/heater motor relay/cooling fan motor relay, there is the running light rly, there is the starter signal rly(my car starts so this isn't it), ther is the rr foglight rly, and there is the interior light(my interior light works so this isn't it.

So it would be great if this helps you remember which one it is
