MY HOOD WONT SHUT!!!!!
i need help, my hood wont shut and i need to find out how to make it shut. If i need a new part that the hood closes into then ill find one if anybody can point me into the right direction...thanks

does the latch move around (the piece that hood locks onto)? it might need some greasing if it stuck open or covered in dirt from all the years.
is you hood latch inside the car stuck open as well?

ok well this guy backed up into me...not bad just enough to break the front bumper..right under my headlight..its a cf hood and it wont shur now...maybe i can pry it back out...i mean the lil thing inside the closer moves fine its just it wont shut now.

If you've got a CF hood you should have hood pins...
When you say it doesn't shut, do you mean it doesn't go down all the way, or it doesn't latch? Or does it kinda latch, but it'll pop up easily?

it wont shut all the way it gets to the little latch part and it stops, it wont go any further. like a downward motion. It gets stuck right there and i mean i can push it down with my hand but it wont go down with my hood

just play with moving the hood lock around. Look at why it does'nt close and figure out why. It's a simple problem, the hinge does not have enough reach to get lapped by the hood hook. Play with it, just use your brian and go play.

i read it, but wasnt sure if thats since the last time he closed it
anyway, try moving the latch all the way up, loosen the 3 bolts on the latch and pull it up and try it
maybe also screw the rubber bump stops on the radiator support down and try it

i fixed it, it is ghetto rigged with a piece of cardboard between the bolt and the body acting as a washer until i can get a washer...it is still very hard to close
