i just put a b16a2 in my 92 vx, now , i am from the inside, i cant put the thing to heat , it will only stay in cold , but if i hold the heater pushing it hard , i can feel heat, but it will go back to cold again ,
what can be wrong?
btw anyone got a stock heater unit for sale?

i have a whole heater system everything thats under the dash. i was gonna put it in my 94 cx hatch but decided to be a man and live without a heater. how much money do you got?

i broke off the thing to move it by accident i was freezen
and i pushed it over too far, and the piece broke off ,
i might need to buy a new one , but i still need to know why i cant move the heater thing over ,

isnt that the jdm unit?

i think you might have something behing it that is restricting it from moving.

when i did my stereo install i had to many wires that got in the way of the control arm. just my .02

Check your water valve inside the engine bay. Chances are something is blocking it or it is not adjusted right. Its on the firewall and 1 of your 2 heater core hoses runs to it.

not to hijack your thread, but mine does the same, just that only the 4th button works, 1,2,3 all dont work and im puzzle as heck? also it only blows semi-warm air, even though its on full blast

I bet you bent your heater valve lever(on the heater vavle itself) when putting your motor in. I have done that before, and I was like "WTF, wheres my heat?!" I looked in the engine bay and quickly found the culprit. If that isn't your problem then you might have messed up the cable. When you look to check for the lever, its on the drivers side of the heater valve and the valve itself is located right before the inlet to your heater core. Just see if the lever can move freely...if not, then bend it back until it can
