My Front D/S Wheel Shaking Violently
So a few days ago I almost ran into the back of this Nissan Frontier at about 45mph as i ran into randomly stopped traffic on the freeway. I slammed on my brakes and my car screeched about 6 feet and nearly hit the car in front of me but he pulled off.
Anyways, Ever since then when i drive around 50+mph my front driver side wheel feels like it's wobbling and i can kinda hear a knock that's very consistent coming from the driver-side wheel well.
Does anyone have any lead to what it may possibly. As for now the cars sitting for a few days i'm very hesitant to drive it.
The car bakes fine, no other issues to be honest. I checked the wheels and they look straight and they aren't losing any air.
I'd like to know if someone know right off the head what it may be from similar experiences.

Re: My Front D/S Wheel Shaking Violently
My buddy has a similiar problem and it happened out of no where, ended up being a lump in the actual tire. So he went and bought one new tire, put it on the same exact rim and it was fixed.
What I would do if I was you is, jack that one tire up and without taking any of the lug nuts off shake the wheel every possible way you can think of. If it does move at all it's a suspension part, wheel bearing, ball joint, lug nuts aren't tightened etc... If it's as solid as a rock, then I would assum it's your tire, a bent rim or maybe even warped rotors.
Hope this helped
