Ofcourse it will fit. not exactly sure but i think the gsr tranny has longer gears than the b16 and shorter than the ls. probably a lot more useful.

that's what he was telling me. he heard that the gears are longer so you can wind it out a little longer, but he was worried because he heard to never mix an 1.8 tranny with a 1.6 motor

it will work, but unless he has a built b16, then i wouldn't recomend it. It's gonna take forever for you to get full use out of those gears. Honda matched that b16 tranny up to that motor for a reason.

true, but he needs one bad and he has a good deal on a GSR..so it couldn't hurt...right? just would be overkill?
