my friends hatch wont start..
my friend has a 94 civic hatch cx.. and every time he tries to turn it over.. it makes a CLICK! sound.. and when he still holds it while trying to turn it on after like 5 sec.. theres just no stop clicking! kinda like CLICK........click click click click ----->>> and so on....i know its not the battery, starter, sparkplugs bcuz we took them to autozone to get it started. help plzzzzz! THANKS!

It does sound like a dead battery, bad ground, starter....etc.

Theres just enough power to crank but not enough to start..always happens on my EG, Just let the bugger charge overnight.

OR quicker way is to use jumper cables. attach those two cars together, let it run a couple min. then it should start right up if you have battery problem.

already tried the jumper cables, and nothing.. i meant to say i took the starter, battery to autozone and they said it was fine.. and it doesnt need to be replaced.

check all your grounds. probably you are having electrical wire problems. get a volt tester and test the wire that sends signal to the starter and make sure its 12v.

err actually this could also be a bad ignition switch, where contacts would get starter to go, but the spark contact never occurs. then again it could also be ignition issues... a host of things.
