The only way to TRUELY make a d-series fast is FI. Either eay, you have a tranny w/ LSD and he has a really shitty clutch....... And that engine weighs about half of his car. Just tell him that any idiot can do an engine swap. It takes a TRUE enthusiast to make a car with the stock motor fast.

all the money you spend making your d15 as fast as a stock h22 motor, you could've probably bought an h22 motor and installed it.

I suggest you just stoop to his level and get a **** ton faster car than his and smoke him and then rag on him,

Damn...where do I start? For all the cats saying the D is crap and to just swap it...you suck! He could do a homemade turbo setup run 10 psi on a decently sized turbo (yes the motor will be just fine to handle it) on the AFC hack, Uberdata, Hondata or Crome and be under way under the price his buddy spent on the H22. Also dont use nitrous...your money would be better spent on a turbo setup. Im sure you also know you way around the internet, but here are two places that might be helpful if you turbocharge that motor. http://www.homemadeturbo.com and my fav (to bad its down right now) http://www.turbod16.com

you must know a secret place where you can get H22's for real cheap because it doesn't cost much to make a d series fast with turbo.

this is bullshit....you can build a turbo kit for less than a grand, run 10 lbs. of boost, and he wwill be faster than that h22, so lets see....less than a 1000 for the homemade turo kit, or 1900+shipping for an h22, plus that axles and mounts, hell, he will end up spending about the same as an ITR swap, so would you rather spend a grand and be faster, or spend 40 grand and be slowerE????

you turbo d-series guys seem to forget that your d15's are nowhere near as reliable turbocharged as any bone stock honda motor.

if you push a stock turbo d-15 motor to compete with a stock n/a H22A may god help you.

odd.

Ok, so we'll up that to 1000 for a good home made turbo kit, and then add $500 for new rods, then you can beat on that motor all day long.
