ok my friend owns a 1999 em1 and bought it mostly new other than rims and barely 50 thousand miles on it. so he just installed an exhaust, password jdm intake with a skunk 2 intake manifold and all this was installed with the help of a well known mechanic. so were just cruising and all of a sudden he wanted to hear his vtec open up and we were now going around 80 in third gear now when wanting to change it into 4th he miss shifted and threw it into second it hit the rev limiter twice and he tried to throw it into neutral as quickly as possible. now his car turns off so we pull over and take a look under the hood and dont smell or see anything that would be wrong. take a look at everything and nothing looks burt or smell like it was. so we sit the for a while and try to crank it again and nothing. but when we turn the key to turn it on it makes that honda engine sound that all hondas make right before the engines turns on if u guys kno what im talking about .... sorry for not knowing exactly what it is that makes that noise but plz let me kno what u guys may think is wrong ..... my friend says thankz and hopefully its nothing big

check all the fuses.and ecu fuse and ecu.main relay.
