My engine keeps dying everytime I start my car.
I have a 93 honda civic mated to a JDM B16a, Type-R transmission, and just the usual bolt-ons.
Anyways, my problem is that my car keeps dying whenever I try to start my car. It'll start up just fine with the engine running, but once I let go of the key on the ignition, everything just dies...no idle no nothing.
I've tried running it while disconnecting the negative wire on the battery to check if it's the altenator, but the engine seems to be running fine after I disconnect the battery wire.
Anyways, I don't think it's the battery because my car does start, and it seems as though things are running, just as long as I don't let go of the key in the starting position.
I'm thinking it's the ignition, but I really want some advice on what you guys might think it is...if you've faced this before, any help would be appreciated, thanks!
