My Engine Code Means What, Newbie needs help....
My check engine light is on, i have a 96 Civic CX, when i have the code checked it says it is lean in bank 1, what fixes this, and what exactly does it mean?

i do not know the code number, but it is a 96 civic cx, only mods so far are a full cat back, and a stereo

your best bet is just to reset the ecu (its what the dealer will do anyway). if it comes back, they you *might have a problem. to reset ecu: turn off car, pull "back-up" fuse under hood (7.5amps) for 10 sec, replace.

or disconnect the negative(black) battery terminal for 5 seconds and re connect it then turn the car on let it run for 2 mins and then turb it off and back on then take it for a spin
