this is my EJ8. i love and respect this car. i will put time and effort into it. i work hard for everything i want to do to it. this is my daily driver and race car on the weekends
it is a 5 speed. and will be cloned into a type r civic. im keeping the D16y8 Vtec motor in it cause i saw someone have 500 hp with a D16. so im keeping mine and shooting for 250hp or maybe 300hp. i dont no yet. im a big HONDA fanatic and absolutely love them. i am gonna turbo it with a GT25R turbo, ITR intake manifold, P28 pistons, new racing valves, new head gasket, boosted bout 10lbs. idk yet bout the ECU, but i do want a LSD tranny. im buying SiR rims, the whole front is gonna be converted to a type r ( grill, headlights, lip and rear lip ) i have already bought a 2008 Civic Mugen Si exhaust system. made it sound sportier. the interior will be converted to type r ( seats, shifter boot ) im gonna buy Password JDM yellow fog lights.

i kno really its a Ek but it wont look like a Ek wen im done with it. im just keepin the motor cause its simple and can get my hp needs. later in time i may do a B16a2 complete swap on it after i have had enuf of the D16 or i blow it up. but i do no my stuff bout hondas. im still learning bout how to build the motors but i no generally bout hondas

But then again i just gotta say to the op ITS NOT AN SI NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY it is not an si its a 99-00 civic ex with a single cam engine. I will LAUGH MY *** OFF if you payed for that car thinking its an si. But also good job for having a goal and good luck with your project.

exsepicaly, WHEN WE KNOW WHAT WERE TALKING ABOUT and you cleary dont,
if you did you would know that you cant put a itr mani on a sohc, and that will out some major modification you cant run a turbo on a mugen header.

i didnt pay the Si price and think it was an Si. i kno its not it would say Si on the back of the car with a B16a2 motor in it. i want and ex body but converted into a Si and Type R civic all at the same time

its the same body man, all thats different, no abs, motor.
if you think it was a si, go look at the vin on the dash, if its a si, it will say em1, or it was say ej8 for a ex
