Ok so ive had this car forever but i gave it to my wife to drive for a long time and now i finally got it back and couldnt help but dump some money in my old baby. Got a lot of work to do to the car but i got a b18c1 for a good price so this is what im doing first and i feel like sharing it with everyone.

This is actually my first swap so im pretty excited about it. I got all the wiring done and i have all the parts i need just waiting on some engine mounts.

Everyone feel free to let me know what you think and post you own builds on here if you want, i would love to see them!

Got the engine, trans. and valve cover all painted up. will post more pics later.

B18 swap. Never seen one of those either. Just don't half *** it or never finish it. That's pretty much common with "build" threads these days.

ya its definitely getting finished. i was ready to drop it in but ran into a problem with the header. after all my research i never saw that a 4-1 header from a b16 would be to tight up against the oil pan.

finally got the engine in.

so far everything is hooking up fine the only problem is the throttle cable. I heard i should use one from and integra so i got it and it doesn't fit right so i tried my stock cable from my ex and it's closer but still doesn't fit in the bracket right, theres too much slack. Any one else have this problem and how did they fix it?

Drill a thick plate and use as a extension to the bracket.

Could you take more pics of the header clearance as I'm interested to see how close it is. This might benefit me not smashing my header flat on crappy pa roads

ok cool ill try that out thanks. I will post some pics of header clearance. Its right up against the oil pan so it doesn't hang down at all. i had to actually dent up the header and pan a little to get the header to fit. It was off a B16

ok so i have everything working and the car drives great but I have a question about the axles. I have the b18c obviously with the b16 transmission and I kept seeing that i need the axles from a 94-01 integra but it doesnt seem to fit right and its leaking from the seal on the passenger side. since i have the b16 tranny do i need the 99-00 si axles?

this is in my 98 coupe. just want to know if anyone else has this exact swap using the integra axles too and if they have this problem.
