My EK 96-98 converted to 99-00 (traded my EG Hatch)
Ok so im New to this site, but im in other site like FHC, ********, and TR. heres what i drive today. enjoy
When i got this car it wasent looking how it is now. head headlights cracked (replaced them wid new ones). aint had a front lip. and it ain have an si wing. thanks for those who sold me some of these parts that made my ek look nice. lil by lil ima fix it and do a paint job. lmk what you think. got a long way

ok im keeping ya updated with my new project. so i decided to convert my 96 ex coupe to an 00, i changed the eadiator support and put the 00 one and heres some pics enjoy.
still more to come, ill keep ya updated

Ok so i just washed my car and decided to take pics. car is coming out good still need couple stuff on the outside like the CTR Grill (if any1 is selling 1 please lmk), and next year i will start on the interior and the engine. so enjoy

lol sorry i just thought to put my project pics since day1. but thanks though.
lol yea thats kinda how i got it at 1st it was worst before. it didt have an si wing, lip and had busted asz headlights. but thanks for the comment. and the paint job my pops did it and body work.

HELL YA!!! mad props i have a 98 dx and i wana do the exact same thing only paint it either the si blue or flat black. but quik ? how much did u pay for the fenders and bumper and hood and wer did u get them from? could u pm me and let me know thanx

lol yea i got them like that. its CF i think but they didt fit in right so i had to cut more of my bumper. and thanks
yea it took me a while not that long but i had to do the body work. thats what my pops did in like 3days after putting the front end. and i think you gotta get an 99-00 radiator support cause the 96-98 are dif. but if you dont have dent it would be faster in paint. and i bought my whole front end for $320 brand new from factory. and also get the paint code for the si or the flat black and my pops would buy it and paint the car. lmk if you intrested

Your car looks beautiful. I have a question about your front clip though.. It all lines up great the fenders lights and bumper are all tight so how is there a gap in between the hood and bumper and grill?? Props on great work though.

not sure. i bought it for $30 in the streets. thought the cover is CF
ummm not sure why but im looking for a CTR grill or SI. but thanks
i neva said it was an "SI" but na not yet. im done with this year due to the holidays. starting next year 2010 ma start the work again.

You did a lot of work, the car is coming along well, looks good. If i were you, i'd spend some time on some of the smaller details for a cleaner look such as the fender well trim in your front fenders....maybe clean them up, or replace them with new. On the rear, it look like the car still has the fender well rubber trim on the inside of the lip, rip-that off and toss it, you'll be happy you did!
You mentioned your changing out the grill, great idea! Maybe consider upgrading you stock seats too, stock ek seats are always the 1st thing i get rid of when building 96-00 civic's.

very clean the only thing i dont like is the lip..
imo get si grill,lip and paint your wheels white
