My EG Sidemarkers. A few questions.
Hey all. Just got my sidemarkers in the mail and I'm a tad confused. On one of the markers there is 3 wires.
1 black
1 green/blue
1 green/blue
One the other one there is this:
1 black
1 green/yellow
Now, My question is. Arent there supposed to be 3 on each? If not and these are all right, Which is driver/passenger side? I've been looking at this page, and plan to use it to instal these. I want them to be on with the parking lights.

Forgive me if I'm being a total retard, I've not looked at the corners yet, that might just answer all my questions, I'm just working right now and can't look.
David.
Nother stupid question. I've pretty much only ever used those little snaps that connect two wires, and butt connectors. Are those okay to use? Or should I solder? I've soldered like once before. If I -Have- to solder, Whats the best way to join two wires?

the best way is to solder becuase then you can't get a bad connection because the the exposed wires can't rust. Anyways you won't be able to have your sidemarkers on with ur parklights and blink if u want them to be on withyour parking lights then wire them the "opposite" way. As in your black will still be your ground but your green/blue wire and green/yellow wire wont be wired to the green lights on your turnsignal harness. It will be the other wire not sure if its red or white. But you don't wanna wire up the green wire on your turn signal harness.
And there could be three on each depends some have two lights in them so you can have the parking lights on and still have it blink. But since you just want them on with the parking lights you will be fine.

Okay Kind of confused on what you wrote about the wiring. I want them to blink -And- Stay on with the parking lights.
Also, What is the best way to Solder two wires together? Just pull back the insulation and melt the two tips together with the solder? Or is there a different way?
Thanks Again.

Re: (1995Ex_Sedan)
didnt JDM sidemarkers only come on with the blinker and not stay on with the parking lights Im not tring to dog what you want to do Im just asking for my own reference
and yes just pull back the wire covering that put the two wires together and the melt the solder over the 2 wires connecting them together

It says that you can wire them to stay on. I'm just not 100% Sure how. Just got back from the Homedepot, got the wire and more solder, I think I might do a little write up, as I'm also replacing my headlights at the same time.
Who knows.
Anyone like, really sure of the wiring for the Sidemarkers?
