My car got flooded once with about 1" of water. I had to take the carpet out cause everytime it got cold at night the windows would ice up on the inside, and scrapping ice off the inside of your windows isnt fun.

I would to be on the safe side.
Plus it's probably soggy on the underside of the carpet still.

You need to remove the carpet and clean it , then let it dry out. hang it up some where dry.

yeah remove the carpet so the interior can still be in good condition

do that or if you leave it in there i think it would start to smell.

Maybe, but don't count it out. Just make sure that everything is dry before you try and start up the car. Also remember you have to crank the engine manually to get any water out of it...Im sure you knew this already.
