Default My Del Sol won't start

I was on my way home today when my Del Sol randomly stalled and then wouldn't start. I pushed the car home and then tried to figure out what it wrong. I have no idea what it is doing. I have heard cars that arn't getting spark or fuel and this doesn't sound anything like that. When you try to crank the car over theres just a buzzing or electric noise. I don't even know how to explain it. So I recoreded this audio file to help. Click the link below and click download. It will open the sound in Windows Media Player. Thanks for the help guys. I need to figure this out ASAP.

Thanks for the advice. I went out and pulled the valve cover and sure enough that was what happened. I guess I get to find a new motor now.

^nOOb don't listen to this d bag. Get a new timing belt like others said and go from there. Could be easy and might not be.

if almost sounds fine, besides a faint noise like somethings hitting are a valve is stuck open? But i havent heard a car crank that had the belt broke so that may be what they sound like. Just pop the valve cover and see if it snapped and if its not go through commons: air, spark, fuel. Come to mention the fuel, i didnt notice the pump priming?

I had a T-belt break on my D15 and I just put a new T-belt and water pump in and everything was ok. I'm sure you'll be fine just make sure you time your motor right when you put another belt on or you will have some problems.

and while you are there with everything taken apart make sure you change cam and crank oil seals ... better now than getting them leaking few thousands down the road
