my dashlight fuse keeps blowing help
 

well my fuse keeps popping i dont know what it is, its only been doing it since i hooked up the gauges in the car... i have the 12volt going to the radio 12v and the grounds going to the screw under the side panel in the dash... i dont have a power source hooked up to the dash lights but the fuse keeps popping... could some one help me out here?? https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

take out your gauges and your radio https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif .... kidding, try to bring it to a electrical place that knows there shit, my friend has a eg and had the same problem the dash and tailights were always going out... they traced all the wires in the car and fixed the problem for $40.

sounds like you fucked up your wiring... look for any pinched wires that have to do with the parking light (dash light) wiring

thats the thing, whoever did the wiring before did a fuck up job so i went through and ripped all the old shit out and ran the new power to the radio elimninating the dashlight source then used new grounds.. all the wires are fine. no pinches..

did you tape up the old wires? esp the dash light source? sounds like it may be shorting out
