is my crank reusable?
The scratches on the journal and bearing
The bearing didnt completley go out but it did leave some dark scratches

Sure, but it definately won't last long from the looks of the picture. Drag your fingernail across the journal - does it catch? If so, replace it. If it doesn't get some emery cloth, soak it and lightly sand the journal til it's smooth again. Replace bearing and go about driving it after changing the oil and filter. Then do it again 300 miles (the oil and filter change, that is)
I did just that on my 01 Corolla when one bearing went bad. Did it on my back, just pulled the plug and slid the rod and piston up the cylinder carefully not to nick the crank and wet sanded it with emery cloth and replaced just the bearings on the one bad rod. Lasted well over 40k miles after the repair. Sold the car and I ran into him about 4 months after and he said he was still enjoying the car and it had had no issues.

i found a good d16z6 crank if i was to use it would i buy the bearings sizes by the stamping on the side block?
