My Civic just hit 100K miles. What do I do?
What do I do for preventative maintenance?
Already changed timing belt, spark plugs, oil. What else should be done?

defenitely do a trans service, check and replace if necessary any gaskets, your head gasket might give you problems too if you havent replaced it already, basically just check and see if anything is broken or starting to break. my EF motor blew at 100k so i swapped in another one. im at 183k miles now and havent had any problems in a few years exept for axles/struts/tires, etc. *knocks on wood* happy tuning in the yay.

wtf, 100k miles is nothing. it will last another 100k easily if you treat it right.

how about distributor cap and rotor, plug wires, coolant, trans fluid, brake and clutch fluid? and did you replace the water pump and timing belt tensioner bearing when you changed your timing belt?

my motors has around 250-275 on it, so..........what ya think now?
I'd also change the cap/rotor, water pump, timing belt tensioner.
...and check your valve cover gasket and VTEC solenoid gasket (if applies to you).

Swap it, hehe
I bought a 97 DX coupe with 130k on it, runs like a charm. I just replaced the clutch, axles, and torque mounts.

Re: My Civic just hit 100K miles. What do I do? (SingleCamIam)
I wouldn't personally replace the headgasket unless it blew, they are pretty sturdy.
i suggest however (sorry for repeats)
Fuel Filter
NGK Plug wires
dist cap
rotor button
valve adjustment(just to be safe)
new valvecover set, plugwire seals and vc gasket
Oil pump if you have the time, (although i never see them go out on single cams, just unbalanced dohc motors.)
fuel filter
check air filter
oh, you need to replace water pump, and thermostat
That's really it, thinking back on all this stuff makes me wish I still had a honda to play around with, they are so easy to maintain, esp compared to my current whip.
