My 93 civic dx heater don't work I checked the thing on the firewall to see if it opens and close and it works fine

I pulled the hose off and stuck a flat head in their to see if it's clog from the valve on the firewall and it seems ok .

Just blow air any idea what can be wrong ?
It's too cold to drive around. Without heat lol.

Check for low coolant in the reservoir and radiator.

Does the engine take a long time to warm up?

Might be a clogged heater core as well, just a few postings they posted a video on how to clear it.

Is your lower rad hose cold when car's warmed up?

My heat was cold as well, it ended up being my thermostat.

does the car get up to temp on the gauge?? if not its almost a guarantee its the thermostat stuck open

Ok I guess I give that a try hope thats my problem
