recently my car has been shutting off while i am driving. the cluster lights turn off and i have to turn the key off and back to the on position. i drove it today for about 3 hours. me and my girlfriend went out and when i came home i went to start it and the whole car is shutting off as soon as i crank it. the cluster lights will not stay on. the only way to keep it running is to keep the starter spinning. I think it is a wiring problem but im not sure. any suggestions. its my daily and i have work tomorrow!

so the ignition is shot but i dont know how to put the new one on... its riveted onto the column and when i plugged the new one in it cranks over but wont start. i think its a safty thing so the car cant be stolen. help please. thanks

you have to take the column out. those r sheer bolts. u just drill them out and replace them.
