My car takes long to start up... HELP!!!
Okay here is the big problem:
97' Civic H/B CX, 2000 B16A2 full swap, 2000 WHOLE interior and engine wiring harness, and 2000 P2T ECU. Just bought that 97' CX as a shell and did a whole 2000 conversion to it.
Now every morning, it will take it so long to start up. Like 4 or 5 tries. And when it finally starts up, it'll act like its struggling for fuel or something. It'll act like that for about a good 2-3 minutes. Then, after the 3 minutes passes by, it'll act normal. Then finally, after it does all that stuff, I will turn the car off and wait 1 minute to start it up again, and it starts up just fine. It bothers the hell out of me.
What do you guys think?
Thanks....

Turn the key to the ON (II) position and wait two seconds before you crank, if your fuel level is low, this will cause that as well.
If after priming for two seconds it does not fire up when cold, you have a fuel pressure issue. And this could be several things:
Fuel Filter
Fuel Pump
Faulty Pressure regulator
Leak in the feed side of the line
Leaking/stuck injector
Unplug the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line and plug the line for a second. The idle should accelerate a small amount, this checks the functionality of the regulator.
Pull your spark plugs and see if any of them are notably darker than the rest, if you get one that is darker, I would suspect a leaking injector.
If you have not replaced the fuel filter in a long time, you may be due for a change, as a clogged one will create high pressure before the filter, but low pressure on the outlet because of the clog.
These are some things I would check first.

Well the only thing I got done is the fuel filter. I replaced it today. Question, I have like extra plugs aroung the fuel tank area. I guess the 99-00 interior harness a an extra plug for the fuel tank than the 96-98. You think that may cause the stupid problem

Thing about migrating a whole harness, is that if you kink it, or do any damage to it, you have to check the entire harness, because it has been messed with, Might want to start checking your fuel pump connections, and why don't you post your findings on what I provided above.
