Default My Car is overheating! I'm stumped

I have a 2000 civic lx 4 door with automatic transmission!!!
When I come to a stop my temp gauge rises and my fan doesnt kick on.
I've gone through the main troubleshooting and everything is working fine.
I replaced the thermostat and the fan switch. I tested the fan motor and its fine, and all of the relays are working like they should. I took my multimeter and tested the fan switch plug and it gets voltage, BUT then I checked the plug for the fan motor and its getting no power. No blown fuses, no relays bad that im aware of, I searched up and down and couldnt find any cut wires. I really cant figure out why the fan isnt getting power. any ideas??

i would 1st check your antifreeze make sure you have enough or do a flush and put fresh coolant in

if your worried about the fan you can always hook it up to a different fuse or use a toggle switch

but thats me b/c i dont have alot of wiring experience

If you unplug the fan switch connector and jump/short its 2 terminals with a wire, does the fan run when the key is turned to ON(II)? If so, start by bleeding the cooling system:

(This procedure may take 20-30 minutes)

1) Park the car on an inclined driveway with the front end higher than the rear.

2) Push the dash heater lever/**** to MAX heat.

3) Follow the directions in the diagram below

Flush and bleed are two different animals.

Does the lower radiator hose get hot when the engine is overheating? Or does it remain cool?
