Is my car ok to drive with the oil pressure switch broke.
I am doing a swap and I broke the oil pressure switch under the VTEC solinoid, I havnt finished the swap yet so I havent tried to start it. will it even start with the oil pressure switch broke and if so is it ok to drive, I am thinking I just wont have VTEC, am I correct.

It's fine. I don't have a pressure switch on my car since some of the newer JDM motors didn't come with them. You can ground the pressure switch wires & viola VTEC will work....It is safer to run one, but if you remain cogniscent of your oil level you should be OK.

Sorry...I realized that I neverf actually answered your question. Yes, your car will run w/o a pressure switch, it will just throw a code.

your oil light might also flash, but as long as you know that your oil is cool, don't worry about it. replace it for convenience's sake, but i always double check all my stuff because i just love my car, lol
