My car can't start, tried everything... wanna cry...
When I start my car... I only hear 1 click sound. I tried to jump it, but same thing happened. checked the wires on the battery, both red and black are tight. checked starter cable.
It actually happened before, but I and my friend fixed it by tightening the red wire on the battery, but after couple days, same thing happen.
No CEL, also tried reseting the ecu.
really wanna cry....

mine has some kinda damn reset button and if the battery went dead the car wouldn't start unless you pushed it after charging the battery but before trying to turn it over... Maybe your battery is on it's way out. Go get it tested.

Also check the ground cable for the alarm. Last week my car wouldnt start for some reason. looked at my alarm and the little red light wasn't blinking so i check the brain and it some had gotten loose.

Waste of bandwidth mang
Take out the starter and get it checked out, get a Voltmeter too and start checking the alternator and **** too although unlikely if you can bumpstart the car.

is your main relay working? did you check your distributor cap for cracks? pull/tighten plugs/plug wires? clean your ignition rotor?
get your started checked out, try jumping it, check fuses JUST incase.....not for nothing but i don't think you tried "everything"

I could push start my car... the start just didn't start... so.. it's mainly starter/electric problem...
didn't work when I jump it... it could push start... so not relay, distributor cap, ignition rotor nor fuses.....

dude its your alarm....its sounds like exactly what happend to me. I got a new starter and everything, but that wasnt the problem. Just go ******* cut your alarm out. If its doing this that means the brain is fucked up anyway. i just went in there and took all the alarm wires off. thats the best thing to do.

Re: My car can't start, tried everything... wanna cry... (chasingamy)
I have tried tapping/hitting the starter, not working. disconnected the alarm cables, not working. disconnected alarm and car stereo, not working. Got my battery a little more than a year ago, with life time warranty is sears. Checked like 3 months ago... it's fine... with my alarm cable connected, my alarm light blinks normally.
Pushed started in the morning.. leave it on for 15 mins + after I turn it off... can't start, same thing happen..
something i found out when i try... when i turn the key, the start runs a little bit.. but it seems like not enough electric to make it run faster. I cleaned both red and black wire on the battery and tried... no help also....
I am considering taking my car to honda and have them take a look..... if I can't slove the problem tomorrow...

If your car is a 5 speed its possible your censor to your clutch went bad. Thats the only other thing i can suggest since your car only clicks once and you can push start it. Also Check all your fuses just for the hell of it.

check ur timing belt... mayb it snapped?? haha...
or else place a screw on ur #1 spark wire and see if theres any spark coming from it... check all wiring harness. for sensors that are not pluged

You cannot just disconnect the alarm. Cars like this get brought into my Honda Dealer all the time with dead Alarm Brains.........that are all ghetto rigged in. All the ones I have taken out. The main power wire to the starter was cut and spliced into the Alarm. Which means by disconnecting the alarm, will do NOTHING. You much find the big wires on the Ignition Switch harness that are cut, and put them all back together CORRECTLY. Match color and wire size. PLEASE disconnect the battery while performing this. Good Luck

What is with some people? How the hell is that possibility funny? Donkeyass
Do yourself a favour and completely rip out the entire alarm, so many hackers/butchers out there. I can't believe how many people have problems with alarms. Mine works great! But the time taken to do it properly was also taken. "knock on wood" Good Luck

take a wire.
touch 1 side to the pos battery
touch the other to the switch side on the starter solenoid. (small flat spade connector)
if it cranks, the starter is fine.
