my Cabon fiber!!
i had a carbon fiber wing on my car, it was on since this summer, but the other day, it got cold out, and i go out there the next morning and half of its white, at 1st i thought it was frost and would go away, but i come abck from skool and its still there! i dunno if its moisture or it froze and cracked it inside, but its not going away! is there a reason for this? also if i get a carbon fiber hood will i have the same problem?

Re: my Cabon fiber!! (DjFreeze)
I'll bet that it's made with polyester resin, which can turn milky sometimes if left in contact with water... I did a fiberglass sub box in a guys car and his trunk leaked, and it milked the whole thing, but it cleared up when the water dried, that was by far the worst case I have seen. I never have completely understood this phenomenon. It's possible that there may be moisture from condensation trapped inside the wing. I really have no idea, but that's my theory...
