My brothers d15 non v-tec del-so idle jumps....
on a cold start or normal start the car will start and idle just fine...but after a lil while of driving and the engine warms up...when my brother puts the car back in park(auto tranny)..the idle jumps from 1k - 1.5k ..it just jumps and jumps and jumps...any idea what may be the problem?..
we have already cleaned out the mesh in the IAVC( however u spell it)...thanks for your help!

heh, I have the same thing on my car,
but i just put on a jrsc,
basically chances are you have a vacuum leak somewhere, like a gasket somewhere( Intake mani or throttle body gaskets are often causes)
or it could just be a vacuum hose popped off somewhere, or has a tear in it!
check for hoses first.

Take off the intake piping when it's doing the wierd idle, and put your hand over the lower hole in the left just before the butterfly valve. It's probably sucking in air. If so
take apart the IATV, it's under the throttle body, it's got a coolant hose running to it, like 3 10mm (I think) bolts, and no electrical connection. You unscrew the 2 philps screws on the end, feel that big white plunger (it's probably loose) then you screw it back in with like 2 screwdrivers as far as it'll go.
