I have a B18c4, when I first posted about it everybody said it didn't exist too.

Just searched and it turns out they're replacement block B18C's from Japan. They're either regular GSR or Type-R motors just with a different casting stamp because of a series change. And yes, there are C3's, C4's and C6's as well.

My advice for your time is learn to launch and lower your psi.

a B18C3 is just a GSR motor.

That whole thing about B18C3 JUST being replacement motors is UNTRUE...

What happened is the motors were ment for export but ended up just being sold in japan. Go to japan, find cars with B18C3's and ull notice that they will have full vins etc like other motors that are for export. I have seen numerous b18c3's and have personally taken them apart.

JUST a GSR.

Just like how in hong kong you can find B16A4's

Big deal guys, its a #

If you get one from a dealership brand new its just because honda had it laying around... ive seen MANY brand new dealer blocks that are JUST stamped B18C

Its nothing special, just a GSR. I assume its possible to get a B18C3 block with ITR internals... they do all sorts of **** in japan anyway. It is not uncommon for eg civic SiR's to have swap'd in B18C's</TD></TR></TABLE>

all the info i have says it's the honda ITR motor for the 95-98 models
and that link is just 100 different explanations

and the chassis code of the car, jdm or edm or whatever, should be DC211

yeah...i knew what motor i was getting, just never seen a b18c3 stamp before. its a gsr motor. i got it from hmotorsonline. just asking cause i've read different things about it on the net like its a itr motor, itr block with gsr head, spoon motor, honda oem replacement block,a gsr block with higher compression pistons than the normal us gsr block has. just different things that i read.

yeah..i need to practice launching at the track. to much wheel spin or too much wheel hop. if i can launch better, i think i can yield a 14 flat.

tire pressure was at 22psi
60' was 2.2
tires...falken azenis
