My automatic transmission
Hi, so this is my question. When I am going up a steep hill in my 99 Civic LX Automatic Tranny, it seems like it doesn't want to change gears. It always seems to want to stay in 3rd... So when I go up the hill i can barely hit 25 mph. The pedal is to the floor also. Is this right or should i be able to take hills faster than that? Also is there a Rev Limiter on my car? If so would that affect anything?
Thanks,
Deerman2701

Re: My automatic transmission (deerman2701)
when that happens, let off the gas and step on it again and it should shift down. if so ur tranny might be getting old.

If I recall correctly the 96-00 Civic don't have that "kickdown" cable.
