??? My air/fuel gauge reads rich all the time and c/e light one??????
Could I have a dead O2 sensor? I had my exhuast welded and every since then my gauge reads green all the time and my cel stays on, I checked the wires and plugs every things good, think my O2 is dead? if so which one is the air/fuel normaly hooked to before or after cat, and where can I get one cheapf or a 97 EK?

You have a narrowband or a wideband 02 sensor?
Also, what code is it throwing?

I just have the factory O2 sensors, not sure the code yet I am going to throw the scanner on it tomorrow at work and get the code/codes. Just thought that this happening at the same time may indicate on of these are bad.

Hate to break it to you, but a A/F guage is useless unless you have a wideband o2. Cool light show though.

not useless, they just don't do what most think they do... they are good for indicating that there is a serious problem.
pull the code, go from there.

Wrong. They only read about 1/5th of the a/f spectrum. You have no idea if you're just barely leaner than 14.7 or if you're so lean you could blow up at any second.

i bet you are reading low voltage to your 02 i had this problem awhile ago and ha still do, my A/F gauge is not connected and i replaced the o2 sensor and i still get these codes, first i would try taking off the A/F gauge then if that doesnt work so new o2 sensors

very true, but if it doesn't cycle when running down the road. it's time to get off the road. more like another idiot light IMO.

I love this guy. He's always dead on.
And no, depending on your situation even lower than 14.7 at which time your gauge will say green light you may still be running dangerously lean. Think turbo. 12:1 good, 13:1 eh, 14:1 ahhh! This is at WOT mind you. But guess what? Stock o2 sensor can not see the differences between any of these a/f ratios. Not only that, but Honda's ecu are programmed such that, when at wide open throttle, it ignores any readings from the stock o2 sensor.

well I am running a bigger fuel pump and have my FP turned up a little over stock so I think I would be rich no lean, but gauge never moves at all stays on the last green light all the time, and now c/e light on. I turned the FP down to see if this was the problem and it did not change

Listen to me, and this is very important. When you get a check engine light you need to jump the service connector and cross references the number of flashes to see what 'code' you are getting. That will immediatley let you know where the problem lies.

your oxygen sensor is blown, the circuit that heats it is, so your guage will always read green
