Default Is it my aftermarket wires, or sign of something serious?

I have accel thunder wires on my d16z6 (I know they suck but I bought them before I discovered Honda-Tech and it's wealth of info!!) . The boots seem to "pop" off and seem to not seat on the holes in the valve cover properly. I secure them often but they seem to "pop" off quickly. I haven't noticed any performance loss on the seat dyno, but I may be wrong.

Is there any way that it may be a head problem and pressure may be leaking by the spark plugs causing the boots to pop off?

Some wires are just built like they were designed by a bunch of 1st graders. Its the company. Accel=Crap. No offence to you, ive bought my share of crap parts and found out the hard way. Good Luck on your next set. (you will be fine with those untill you have the cash to flash for a better set.

I don't think so, IMO it's just the wires not siting right on the plugs, the only problem I can think of happening is the it completly comes lose causing your car to run like crap, and if it does, just get a set of NGK or OEM wires.

No offense taken! I'm new to hondas. This site has steered me away from waisting my money on many other parts that were on my wish list. Any suggestions which wires to buy. Thanx for the info guys and gals!!
