We did a lot this weekend. Trouble shooting takes time. Most importantly, I realized the source of my oil leak.

I'll spare you the details and give you the results.

Everything is back together. Took less than two hours to pull the front end off, figure out what the problem was, fix the problem, and put it back together. Lesson learned, check your **** when you get it back from someone else.

@Cao, why are you abandoning your project? I'd take the IACV if you had an OBD1 engine but, you don't. PM you for sale thread and I'll window shop.

The machinist job was to machine the head. Not assemble it. What through me was that he didn't reassemble the parts he took off the block. He just gave me all of the nuts and bolts in a bag. The head he reassembled. I incorrectly assumed things were torqued. In hind sight, I believe he did the right thing and I'm the one in error. He didn't know what torque setting to use and those plugs were installed to hold the rocker arms in place.

Anyways, I think I've sorted my mechanical issues. All that should be left is tuning.

Dude, that is so sweet!

I know what you mean about getting all your crap back in a bag. I spent hours on Saturday looking for those little dowels that align the head to the block.

They were in a bag with the coolant neck...

Found 'em about 6:30 PM...

Default CX-Adam's Prolong Shitbox Build Failwagon + GDD's Impromptu For Sale Thread

MFW I think I'm in my build thread but it's actually Cao's and Chappy's FS thread.

JK. I'm no where near that handsome and I'm more than 4ft tall. You guys are clowns.

Unless you are going to buy something, don't distract from the thread...
