i have no check engine light and i am not able to pass emissions in my eg coupe d series need some help hc is 400 over 220 and co is 2.7 over 1.5 anybody got any ideas

mine car wasnt passing smog until i took care of it. here's a list of things you can do to help:

1. Use Seafoam!!!! half of it in the gas tank and half of it in through the intake!! Search up on how to use this stuff it works wonders!!
2. Run 91 octane gas, it lowers emissions
3. Do some tune-up stuff on your car ie. Spark plugs, oil, etc
4.How many miles do you have on your car? if its over 200,000 your catalytic converter might need some changing.

change the o2 sensor and the catalytic converter

things for you to check and do's:

- tune up
- replace cat.
- check timing
- check/repalce O2(not all the time it throws a code)
- better gas
- intake/fuel filter
- check compression

...and maybe more but that's all I can think of right now.

you can also retard the timing a bit, before you bring it in drive it on the highway for a good half an hour at high rpms, and yea tuneup
