My 92 VX Hybrid.......
A few people were asking me to post some pics of my 92 VX so here they are. My digi cam sucks so they don't look very good but it's all I have until I get the rolls developed that I took the other day. - Just got the new rolls developed so I'll put the new ones up in a few days.

Re: My 92 VX Hybrid....... (Slopoke)
Yeah any pic I take with my digi cam doesn't do it justice. I took some with a nice camera but I need to get the filmed developed and then scan them in. The car is actually factory Milano Red with Blood Red pearl and shiny
I get lots of compliments on the wheels and many people can't believe I did it myself. It's not hard to do if you are good at masking and just take your time and prep well.

It's not really hard to do but it's hard to do right. It's not an exact fit so you need to play around with it a little. The plastic is bigger on the top as opposed to the Civic cluster that is big on the bottom. You have to trim the top and then mount it with zip ties. I was able to keep the clear plastic cover where some people I've seen never used it at all.
You'll need to get a cluster from a 94-01 Integra and the connector plugs. I unpinned all my factory harness plugs and then wrapped wire around the pin and heatshrinked it. That way if I ever decide to put the stock cluster back in, all I need to do is pin them back into the factory connector plugs. I have the wiring diagram which I got from 95CivicEX on here and it's 100% correct.

Re: My 92 VX Hybrid....... (DRxCIVIC)
I bought them from a friend, the same guy I got the GSR wheels from I got the full kit with the wiring and switch. I painted the covers black because they never matched anything else on my car and looked kind of flashy. I can get you a set without the switch and wiring though. I have a friend who had them and bought a Buddy Club body kit and he can't use them anymore.

It's my digi cam, it made the car look pinkish orange. The color is Milano red with blood red pearl which basically makes it just a few shades darker than the factory Milano red. Yes, I painted the valve cover to match the color of the car. I kept the rough texture and it looks very similar to a JDM cover but I painted the lettering black. I sprayed a few coats of high temp red then a few coats of color matched paint that I had mixed in a spray can.

Re: My 92 VX Hybrid....... (TurbodCX)
This was how I had everything setup last year when I dragged it 5 times:
92 VX with 99 B18C1 - completely stock
P72 OBDI ecu
JDM 4-1 header
Unorthodox lightweight flywheel
ACT clutch
Tanabe Racing Medallion
Import Tech shorty intake
MSD plug wires
Apex-i VAFC
Rear interior removed
13" stock VX wheels with MT's front / street tires rear
Add all of this together = 13.87@102.1 mph
I just wanted to see what kind of times I could pull and that was my best of the 5 runs, the worst being a 15.34 - 1st time I ever dragged . Since then I've added GSR front + rear seats and gauge cluster, the GSR rims and new suspension. I don't have any immediate plans to race this year, because I have too much going on now:
I'm in the process of installing a 96 B18B1 into my girlfriend's CRX (auto to manual, dpfi to mpfi, blah blah blah). Once I'm finished with that I'll be doing some body work on my 93 DX, putting a ZC into my friend's 89 CRX Si and then doing an auto to manual in another friend's 96 Prelude.
Future plans include a custom turbo setup, possibly the Drag III, but more than likely a piece together kit. With the turbo I'll upgrade the fuel delivery and ignition and probably run on Hondata. I would like to add some front and rear sway bars and do a rear disc conversion too.
