Stick a screwdriver or key in the slot next to the square indicator

just stick a key in the slot by the light or somewhere near it.. (dont remember) to reset it to green. if u keep your car fairly maintained you wont have to worry about half the stuff it recommends to check. however timing belt, water pump, etc.. are highly recommended at certain mile intervals so make sure to look it up.

It comes on when you need to rotate your tires, about every two oil changes.

it is set at pre determined intervals that were set by the manufacturer to help remind the owner that it is time to be service..

there is a little slot next to it on the cluster.. stick your key in and its magically green again... it will soon enough rotate back to red...
