Icon6 Multi question regarding engine/ tranny and upgrades....

bare with me... I have a 2000 civic coupe EX. everything is stock now with my civic Should I do suspension, lips n rims or do head/tail/fog lights, New tint and SI grill... Which should I focus on first? I know my car isnt fast nor am I gonna rice it out ( JUST SAY NO TO RICE... Unless its sticky 8) ) I just want her to look clean... Honestly the vid reflects pretty closely to what I want the end product of my EK to look like. And on to the engine/tranny whats the best way to go, reman or rebuild? my tranny takes a few seconds to engage 3rd frequently... any input is good input thnx

For engine and tranny, I would def. go with used JDM parts from an importer. The used Jap. castoffs are 100% better than anything you'll get here short of a complete engine build. I've purchased two transmissions and an engine this way with no regrets whatsoever. And the price is usually better, too.

do whatever YOU want to do. how are you going to rely on other people to tell you how to spend your money? might as well just give it to me now.

again, set your own priorities. asking other people what you should do doesnt make sense.

This is exclusively a technical forum, but your questions are mostly non-technical and represent opinion polls -- Not a good fit for this forum.

For questions regarding your car's appearance, please post a thread in the Honda-Acura Appearance and Cosmetic forum.

Please read information in the FAQs sticky to get up to speed on transmissions and engine swaps. When you develop specific questions on this topic, post them in this forum.

For questions about Suspensions, please post those in the Suspension and Brakes forum.
