They actually made one for the carbuerated Sohc's in the
late 80's.

Someone must have the pic of it.

I know this guy is looking for a fake one though. http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emcrook.gif

yup, no one thinks mugen had anything to do with sohc, as if they just started workin on hondas since the dohc vtec engines came out. maybe later i can post up some treats (pics) of old school mugen catalogs and parts for old civics and crx's like :carb manifold, TURBO KITS (yes real mugen turbo kit), og mugen cams etc etc.

Sorry to the thread starter, but I wasn't going to post anything about the old ass Mugen SOHC stuff because I'm pretty sure it wasn't what he was talking about anyways.

I believe the one you're talking about is for the 1200 motor, right?

There's a road racing national champ here in GA by the name of Adam Malley - he has all sorts of Mugen shit in his bad-ass 1200 Civic that dominates his class in road racing.

I'll try to find a pic of his car on the net.

Ack ... $300 for a "Mugen" SOHC valve cover ....

Go for the free bling:

Worked for me!

Save that $300 for a B16A2, you'll already be 1/5 the way there!

is the "Mugen" logo painted on or is it actually molded that way?-on the fake on of course

Re: Mugen Valve Covers (Emerica)

The fake SOHC valve covers are made by Tenzo-R. And they also make the DOHC too. The only difference in the DOHC covers is that the real ones are made of lightweight aluminum, and the fake ones aren't. There's the scoop. http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emthup.gif

Whats the deal with mugen vualve covers. Unless they add mad horsepower then why the fuck get it. Im not all against making your car look good, but if your gunna make it look good, then make it look good where people can actually see it.

I heard Mugen has acutally made one for the SOHC VTEC. Haven't seen it though and they never change their web site. The shop I go to has the imitation Mugen covers in blue and red. Only $170 each.
