They are still around, i have seen them on ebay and stuff, Tenzo R just came out with a bunch of different color valve covers for sohc and dohc, check out there website, they look just like the mugen ones.

I will be getting a mugen decal that goes along the sides of my car... i kinda want to add this.

Well, if everything you have by Mugen is "authentic" then I wouldn't get a knock off D series valve cover since the real Mugen is made for the B Series VTEC motors. I guess if you wanna pimp it with some knock-offs, go right ahead but you're going against your current theme of "Mugen authenticity." Are those Mugen decals you plan to buy "authentic" as well?

yea the decals... they're from King and they cost more than my house.

I was thinkin too and if I have all the real Mugen I wont screw it up with fake mugen... I've heard of Mugen of old making SOHC valve covers I was wondering if they were still floating around.

There are such thing. About 4 years ago, I seen one at a car show once. Didn't think about it back then. This was before any companies that had ideas of copying the original versions.

It's for the 85-86 Civic/CRX Si.

Looks like a D16A6 1988-1991 SOHC Si motor.

But that looks like maybe a cast copy or something, because like asked before:

mugen has many d series parts nobody even knows about. search google. also. the ITA crx guys know plenty about mugen sohc parts. also hit up king motorsports
