Default muffler opinions

im looking into buying a SS Oval muffler for my 93 EG Si.. now ideally i wanan get the ES Oval but im kinda weary about ordering off the website.. ive read on the forum that a good alternative is magnaflow.. someone else also suggested to me dynomax as well

Im looking for something specifically, SS all the way around and not so loud that the cops will pull me over (cops in vancouver/surrounding areas are EXTREMELY **** about this) so the less heatscore the better..

what are all your opinions on these 3 brands? or any other for that matter.. ive heard magnaflow is louder than the other 2.. is that true??

thanks in advance..

i just installed an ES Oval on my 98 coupe. It sounds great although it didn't quite fit well because of the spare tire well being down too low and the guy at the muffler shop ended up having to rotate it a tiny bit and use a tip to make it fit rite . Kinda kills the look of the muffler, but the sound is excellent . I don't think u should have any problems with it fitting rite on yours though.

I had the es oval and didn't like the sound. I have a N1 now and love it.

i have a ss street series straigh-through magnaflow and kept my stock resonator and it's pretty quiet. no louder than my intake. as quiet as stock at idle, barely audible in the low rpms. upper end it gets louder, but very similar to the sound of my intake. not raspy or high-pitched like some mufflers are.
