Default MT and AT key ignition casings the same or different?

I'm helping out a friend replace their steering coloumn since someone decided to go joy riding in their car. They broke the steering wheel lock and sheered off one leg of the ignition casing so I'm replacing both.

The car is a 1998 Civic coupe HX.

I have no problems switching out the key ignition casing between the locksets but is there a difference between the 2 other then the wiring?

On a side note: If anyone does have a spare ignition casing and/or steering coloum they'd be willing to sell please PM me.
