Default MSD Mount Pics

As the topic states, I need some pics of an MSD box mounted in a Honda. I would prefer to have pics of them mounted in the cabin(the passenger kick panel), or anywhere else BESIDES the engine bay. Although any fancy engine bay shots are welcome.

I have searched in all the archives and recent topics and haven't found any pics of them being mounted in the cabin. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't have a pic but I installed my crane box (just like msd) in the DRIVER side kick panel (just like where the ecu goes but on driver side)

it fit in there perfect, kick panel went back on like it wasn't even there.

Look at the Little Red Box, under the Pass Side Strut thingie. I didn't install this first hand. My mechanic did it. I just know it must have been a bitch to mount holes, and install there. It looks slick IMO!

Hmmm, that sounds like something I might try. Would you be able to get some pics??

And another question is if I do decide to do put it on the driver's side, does the length of the wires have any effect on the way the ignition works? If it's something negligible then all right, but I don't want to extend the wires to the point of affecting the way the MSD itself works...

Thanks for the pic Status Check, but that's where i'll be mounting my Blaster 3 Coil.

removed the box before I got any pics of it. Sorry.

Just picture that box sitting vertical behind the kick panel, thats what it looked like. All the wires came out the top so you could not see them.

I did have to extend a few wires, nothing major, never noticed any problems because of it.

I thought this was one of the most stealthiest (is that a word) installs I did, you could not tell I had a upgraded ign accept from the blaster and two small wires going into the dizzy.

Mine's under the passenger seat, no pics, but just ran the wires under the carpet and thru the firewall. Can't really tell its there at all.

Run it into ur glove box. I'm gonna end up routing everything: Radio/Field controller/EQ/Igntion box in the glove box. Maybe even cut an apporpriately sized hole to put in a computer fan.

IMO id shy away from open view with all of the stolen threads around this forum...I just had a close encounter with a fully stripped interior (not even a radio) all to get my self made guage panel out of where the radio sits....HAND MADE it cost me like 6 bucks!

anyway do what you like but i hate theives and would hate to see another car go...

I wouldnt mount it where it can not get ventilation, MSD box's get very hot and should be mounted away from anything that can melt and it should have cool air around it

How hot do the MSD boxes actually get?

i know. everyone flamed me for it. i went with a tial because of the higher boost levels i wanted, and i had sold the deltagate anyway.
